Supporting our communities in Europe during the cost of living crisis

The cost of living crisis across Europe continues to have a significant impact on the communities in which we live and operate. We know that many across the continent are facing extraordinary challenges in the wake of rising food and energy costs, and that these challenges disproportionately affect the most vulnerable in our society.

To support those most heavily impacted by the crisis, we are announcing today that JPMorgan Chase will make a contribution totaling €700,000 to the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA) , which is aiding local food banks across Europe to meet the increased demand for food and support. The firm’s philanthropic contribution is part of a larger regional and global commitment of up to $5 million to respond to the cost of living crisis, and complements our broader long-standing efforts in these communities to drive a more inclusive economy.

As part of this commitment, the firm will also match employee donations 1:1 to select organizations. The firm’s matching contribution will be made in addition to the contribution we are announcing today.
